3G iPhone Tips and Tricks

Home Button:
We have always talked and known about tapping the home button only once to get the homepage screen. What happens if you double tap the button quickly? This can be enabled from your iPhone’s settings; Settings>General>Home Button.

* If the phone is locked, double tapping on the home button opens the iPod control screen. This is handy if you are listening to music and want to go forward/backward or pause the song without sliding open your iPhone.

* Double tapping the home button if the phone is unlocked takes you directly to your favorite contact list.

Tapping the iPhone Screen:
Double tap on the iPhone screen is pretty convenient for zooming in and zooming out images and text at a go. Most of us never cared to experiment or were too comfortable with the pinching in or out to do the same. Double tapping works equally well.
This is really cool if you want to view photos on the iPhone’s photo app, you can toggle between full screen mode and letterbox mode, just double tapping on the screen during video playback. Browsing is much more fun too as you can zoom in and zoom out the content with this double tapping trick.
